📚 Outer Space Reading Worksheets
- Here is a great outer space word search for kids, along with an answer sheet to make it easy for you to check your kiddo’s work.
- You absolutely must read (or help your children read) NASA’s kids website! In addition to having fun space games and STEM projects, there are tons of articles on everything from humans in space to solar system to rocket ship flight (and anything you can think of in between!).
- Let’s work on parts of speech (common nouns, proper nouns, contractions, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs and verbs) with this space color by code worksheet! There are also free outer space printables for sight words and word families, as well as some bonus math worksheets!
- Kindergarten – 2nd Grades

🖌 DIY Stomp Rocket & 5 Ways To Paint a Galaxy
- Learn how to make your own Stomp Rocket in the following video. You can see another implementation and fantastic instructions from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory here. All you need is an empty 2-liter bottle, duct tape, 5 feet of 1/2-inch PVC pipe, 24″ of 1/2-inch PVC pipe, two 45-degree PVC elbow slip connectors, 2 PVC tee slip connectors and 2 PVC slip caps.
